Development Summary

Created within a former brewery, Tribeca East Melbourne is one of the largest precinct-style residential and retail  developments undertaken in Melbourne’s history. red.c worked in partnership with four architects and five interior  designers, including Philippe Starck, to deliver 428 apartments in 6 unique residential buildings and 2,500 square metres of retail.

The transformation of the Victoria Brewery required specialised solutions that were sympathetic to the site’s heritage assets and cultural significance. The aim of the project was to create a socially sustainable village within  the landmark façade and through meticulous planning and great design Tribeca has developed into a thriving urban space.

In 2006 Tribeca won the Property Council Rider Hunt Award for High Rise Residential Buildings and received a Special Commendation at the Australian Property Institute Excellence in Property Awards.
